Our History
Established in 2007 in Calgary, GRC Remote Services Ltd. began its journey operating heavy equipment within Alberta’s demanding logging industry. Driven by our expanding capabilities, we relocated to the County of Grande Prairie in 2009. This move let us pivot and expand into essential service and maintenance in the Natural Gas sector across many rural Alberta communities.
As industrial needs evolved, so did our capabilities. In 2011, GRC strengthened its core surface support rental operations while diversifying into the telecommunications sector, delivering specialized service and maintenance for cellular and internet communication equipment to keep remote operations connected. Our unwavering dedication to safety and operational excellence was officially recognized in 2018 when we achieved our SECOR (Small Employer Certificate of Recognition) certification.
Today, GRC Remote Services Ltd. has grown into a versatile, trusted partner for remote industrial solutions across Western Canada. Operating from our two strategic locations in Demmitt, Alberta, and Dawson Creek, British Columbia, we ensure rapid deployment and reliable support for the region's most critical projects.
We offer a comprehensive fleet of premium rental equipment designed to support diverse remote operations, including generators, power distribution equipment, diesel and electric light towers, mobile cell towers and 2-way radios, fuel tanks, combo trailers, and skid washrooms.
We do not just rent equipment; we deliver turnkey operational support. Our experienced team handles the entire lifecycle of your project needs, including delivery, setup, ongoing maintenance, rig-out, and final inspections. With nearly two decades of deep roots in the western industrial landscape, GRC Remote Services Ltd. remains dedicated to keeping your remote operations safe, powered, and connected.
